Our client, a prominent and diversified group with interests across multiple sectors, is seeking a dynamic Head of Rewards to lead the design and implementation of total rewards strategies. As the organization continues its transformation journey, this role will be pivotal in ensuring that reward systems are competitive, performance-driven, and aligned with business objectives.
The Head of Rewards will be responsible for compensation and benefits (C&B) strategy, job evaluation, pay benchmarking, incentive schemes, and compliance across the organization. This is a strategic position requiring both high-level thinking and hands-on execution in a complex and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage compensation and benefits strategies to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
- Lead annual salary review cycles, bonus schemes, and incentive plan processes.
- Conduct job evaluations and maintain a consistent job grading structure using recognized frameworks.
- Oversee benchmarking exercises and market analysis to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to align reward strategies with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax, labor, and regulatory laws related to employee compensation and benefits.
- Manage executive compensation frameworks, including long-term incentive plans and retention schemes.
- Lead internal education and communication efforts to promote understanding of total rewards among employees.
- Provide analytical support to the HR Director and leadership team for strategic decisions on pay structures and budgets.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in total rewards or compensation & benefits, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of reward strategy, salary structures, benchmarking tools, and job evaluation systems.
- Experience working in a large, matrixed organization or conglomerate structure.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, analyze data, and influence stakeholders across levels.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Professional certification in compensation (e.g., CCP, GRP) is a plus.
