An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager / Project Director to join a highly established commercial and workplace fit-out company as part of their Brisbane/QLD expansion.

This senior leadership role will be pivotal in the continued growth and expansion of the QLD business, which has enjoyed significant success over the last 12 months in particular.

Reporting directly to the General Manager for the state, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-end, D&C commercial fit-out projects and leading a growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple high-profile commercial fit-out projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget adherence.
• Oversee project teams and subcontractors, ensuring collaboration and effective communication across all stages.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets while mitigating risks.
• Report directly to the General Manager, providing regular updates on project progress and performance.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Mentor and guide a team of project managers, supporting their professional development.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal processes.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 10+ years in commercial construction, specialising in D&C projects within the workplace and fit-out sector.
• Proven leadership experience managing senior-level teams and collaborating across departments.
• Strong project management skills with a focus on budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
