Infrastructure Architect – 3 x Roles – Initial 12-month contracts
  
Our client, a major enterprise organisation, is seeking three experienced Infrastructure Architects to support large-scale digital and infrastructure initiatives. These roles offer the opportunity to work across a modern workplace transformation, communications uplift and a multi-stream delivery portfolio – Each bringing a unique set of challenges and key stakeholder engagement.
  
The projects include a Modern Workplace uplift, focused on replacing legacy platforms such as LiveTiles and Workface with Microsoft-native solutions like M365, Intune and SharePoint; a Communications Infrastructure uplift (MCU Project), ideal for architects with broad infrastructure knowledge and unified communications experience, targeting the modernisation of enterprise video conferencing and collaboration platforms; and a dynamic mix of customer, platform and onboarding initiatives, where the architect will work closely with a peer to design and deliver scalable solutions across multiple workstreams.
  
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Design and deliver end-to-end infrastructure solutions aligned to project objectives and enterprise architecture.
• Lead and influence architectural direction across transformation projects.
• Engage stakeholders across IT and the business to ensure alignment, feasibility and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership across design reviews, implementation and governance processes.
• Work closely with delivery and change teams to support successful implementation.
• Identify and manage risks, interdependencies and constraints across infrastructure initiatives.
• Contribute to the uplift of security, performance and user experience across platforms.

The role will be offered as an initial 12-month Day Rate contract with a flexible hybrid WFH agreement.
  
The skills/experience needed will include but not be limited to:

• Extensive experience delivering infrastructure architecture in large enterprise environments.
• Strong background in cloud, on-prem and hybrid infrastructure design (Azure, M365, network, security etc.)
• Experience in modern workplace, collaboration or communications infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work across complex programs and influence outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement across IT and business domains.
• Experience within highly regulated sectors is advantageous.
