They are a European manufacturer who are able to service multiple market segments including Specifiers, Builders, Developers, Trades & Resellers.


Their high-end lighting solutions are trusted across major global projects in healthcare, hospitality, commercial office, retail, and luxury residential sectors. Currently generating over $10 million in lighting sales, the business is poised for major expansion.


Backed by a world-class team, in-house manufacturing, and full support infrastructure (including Salesforce CRM and a dedicated finance division), they are now investing in a newly created role to drive growth across the Australian market.


The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, hands-on Sales Leader to build and scale a high-end Lighting division across national markets. Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, this role will be responsible for both sales strategy and execution, supported by an existing pipeline and a strong executive team.


You’ll be empowered to develop new markets, expand distribution, build and lead a national team, and help position the business as the go-to brand for premium lighting solutions across commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth by identifying and developing new sales channels for high-end lighting products
  • Manage and grow a national B2B sales team – hire, coach, and lead from the front
  • Oversee and expand reseller and wholesaler networks across Australia
  • Develop and implement strategic plans targeting Electrical Wholesalers, Contractors, A&D, and Builders
  • Build strong relationships with key commercial clients and project stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, E-Commerce, and Product Development
  • Analyse market trends, track performance, and adjust strategy as needed
  • Represent the brand at exhibitions, industry events, and strategic meetings
  • Maintain high-level CRM engagement and reporting via Salesforce


Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong background in lighting, electrical, building automation or related sales field
  • Demonstrated success in sales leadership OR an attitude consistent with future leadership potential
  • Existing network within Electrical Wholesalers, Resellers, Builders, or A&D professionals
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to opening new markets
  • Strong communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and scale a high-performance team
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and outcome-focused
