Registered Nurse
A fantastic opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to join a large residential aged care facility located 3.5 hours from Hobart in the North West of Tasmania.

We are seeking someone who can bring value to this welcoming team with experience in Dementia, Assessments, Palliative Care, Team Leading, Medication Administration and a Resident Focused Approach.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Deliver high quality nursing skills to residents and support their families, with consideration for cultural, spiritual and individual needs
• Wound management
• Identification and escalation of clinical deterioration
• Strong documentation skills with knowledge of ANACC/Care planning
• Provide leadership, support, orientation and education to EN's and PCA's
• Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model
• Adhere to safe practice measures in medication management

Requirements:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Div 1
• Previous experience in Residential Aged Care
• Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
• A current Working With Vulnerable People card
• Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a national police clearance
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance required
