I am looking to speak to senior grid connection engineers looking for a step up, OR principal engineers tired of doing the same tasks and feeling stagnated in their development. Backed by a solid team of development experts and with the want to construct, you’ll work on projects across Solar, Wind, Hydrogen and traditional BESS.

Job Title: Principal Grid Connection Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing a junior member of staff.
  • Contribute across R0, R1 and R2 stages of the grid connection process.
  • Lead and manage negotiations with AEMO and NSP’s, as well as OEM’s and EPC contractors at various stages of the process.
  • Work closely with Construction, Business Development, Investment, Legal, Operations and Planning teams to collaboratively develop and build renewable assets.
As for you?
You’ll be an experienced grid connection or power systems engineer, fully versed in PSS/E, PSCAD and PowerFactory. NER compliance will be your bread and butter, especially s5.2.5.2, with demonstratable experience negotiating with AEMO and NSP’s. You’ll also have some leadership experience, whether that’s putting your hand up to lead projects or previous people leadership experience.
