End date: 3 months from start date (extension likely)
Rate: $550 - $600/day + super
Location: Greater Western Sydney
Hours: 8 hours per day/40 hours per week
Working arrangement: Hybrid
About the Role
A large utilities organisation delivering critical infrastructure across Greater Sydney is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their Supply Chain and Procurement Division. You will administer infrastructure contracts, manage supplier obligations, and support project teams to ensure delivery to agreed standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer contracts across assigned projects, supporting the Senior Contract Administrator and Regional Contract Manager
- Assess monthly progress claims and prepare supporting documentation
- Identify, record, and escalate contractual risks, developing mitigation strategies with the project team
- Draft Contract Management Plans and contribute to monthly reporting
- Administer systems including Ariba, SAP, and project delivery portals
- Carry out contract extension and completion or termination activities to enable the processing of final payment claims and issuing of any relevant contractual completion documentation
Essential Skills & Experience - 5+ years' experience in contract administration within a large, complex organisation
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contract principles
- Proven ability to manage contracts across their full lifecycle
- Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills
- RICS qualification
