We have an excellent opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join a first opinion small animal veterinary practice in the St Albans area of Hertfordshire in the London commuter belt.

• full time opportunity working 40 hours a week including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings and no Sundays and no OOH.
• practice is purpose built to industry leading standards; 3 consult rooms, theatre, in house lab, digital X-ray, ultrasound etc.
• varied surgical and medical caseload with lovely loyal clients and excellent local reputation.
• ideally you will have experience in practice and confident with routine surgery and medicine and comfortable with small furries.
• join a friendly and welcoming 2 Vet team
• there will be an element of sole charge with support from nursing team.
• generous CPD allowance and paid BVA, VDS and RCVS memberships
• Sought after Hertfordshire location, free onsite parking, good road access and direct train routes to London

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• confident with routine surgery and medicine
• comfortable with small furries
