We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a first opinion small animal veterinary practice in the Southend on Sea area, Essex

• full time opportunity including 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and no OOH. (part time hours may also be considered)
• practice is purpose-built with state-of-the-art equipment and an expanding client base and varied caseload
• we are ideally looking for a Veterinary Surgeon confident in routine surgical and medical cases and comfortable with some sole charge.
• role offers a great opportunity to further develop with support to pursue a post graduate qualification or certificate.
• join a close-knit 3 Vet team including a dermatology certificate holder.
• £5,000 welcome/relocation bonus offered
• well located just a short walk to train station with direct trains into London in 40 minutes, plenty of free parking and on bus route, close to London’s international airports and the open spaces and beaches of the Essex coastline

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• Veterinary Surgeon confident in routine surgical and medical cases
• comfortable with some sole charge.
