We are now recruiting for a Senior Vet Surgeon to join the team at a first opinion small animal veterinary practice in the Middlesbrough area, North Yorkshire

• full time working 40 hours a week including a 1 in 4 Saturday rota and no Sundays, no OOH. (part time hours may also be considered)
• practice is busy, established and successful with a high standard of facilities and equipment including; ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray and endoscopy/laparoscopy and new CT.
• We are ideally looking for a vet with a minimum of 3 years experience looking for a more senior role.
• join a welcoming, friendly, supportive Vet team with certificate holders in surgery, dentistry, imaging, cardiology and minimally invasive surgery.
• CPD allowance and support for a certificate is available.
• paid RCVS, BVA memberships and VDS fees.
• well located in the port town of Middlesbrough on the North East coast with cities of Durham, York and Newcastle nearby and surrounded by stunning countryside of North York Moors and The Pennines etc.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• minimum of 3 years experience
• looking for a more senior role.
