We are now recruiting for a Head Vet Nurse to cover a 12 month period of maternity leave at a successful first opinion small animal veterinary practice in LONDON 

Role:

• excellent opportunity available to start ASAP on a 12 month fixed term contract working 4 days a week and 1 in 3 weekends with no OOH.
• practice is established and successful and is purpose built and fully equipped
• interesting and varied caseload with loyal local clients
• ideally you will have strong general nursing skills and the ability to lead, manage and mentor a nursing team.
• role will include directing the day to day running of the clinical team, lending a hand where needed, acting as a role model for the nurse team, helping to develop their skills and using managerial skills to optimise workflow.

• Generous CPD allowance and paid RCVS, BVNA and VDS
• Super LONDON location with onsite parking and within walking distance of the Central tube line and mainline train station.

Requirements:

• Qualified Vet Nurse
• Registered with RCVS
• strong general nursing skills 
• ability to lead, manage and mentor nursing team.

Salary package:

• Salary to £40,000.00 per annum to reflect your experience
