Digital Strategist (Google Ads)

Purpose of the Role:

The Digital Strategist (Google Ads) is responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns using Google Ads and SEO strategies. This role is key in driving brand awareness, attracting new customers, and engaging current ones through targeted advertising and data-driven decisions. The strategist also analyzes campaign performance and provides insights to support continual improvement.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plan campaign concepts by reviewing relevant materials and data
  • Collaborate with the Production Team to deliver creative assets
  • Create and implement Google Ads campaign strategies across all relevant platforms, including ad copy, visuals, and targeting
  • Recommend and execute new Google Ad initiatives to boost brand visibility and performance
  • Generate, analyze, and present monthly campaign reports to clients
  • Identify and resolve any technical issues related to campaigns or platforms
  • Manage and maintain all Google advertising assets and related tools
  • Perform occasional basic SEO tasks such as updating meta titles, descriptions, alt text, schemas, and social tiles
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research for campaign development
  • Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, digital laws, and best practices
  • Support team goals and projects as needed

Essential:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or marketing support environment
  • Qualification in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Google Ads strategy and implementation

Desirable (Optional Additions):

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or other marketing platforms
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and automation platforms
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or WordPress
