Hunter Recruitment Group is excited to be recruiting for a local NDIS provider dedicated to delivering high quality, person centred support. We are seeking compassionate, skilled and dedicated Disability Support Workers to provide care across various locations, including Lochinvar, Glen Oak, Cooranbong, and Maryland.

About the Role:
Supporting individuals with disabilities in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Access, you will assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and behaviour support while fostering independence and well-being.

Locations & Rosters:
  • Lochinvar – 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am (active shift) 
  • Glen Oak - 8am-4pm, 4pm-8am (sleepover 10pm-6am)
  • Cooranbong -  8am-4pm, 4pm-8am (sleepover 10pm-6am)
  • Maryland - 8am-4pm, 4pm-8am (sleepover 10pm-6am)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs
  • Assist with daily living activities, personal care, mobility and communication
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
  • Administer medications and manage healthcare needs as required
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and records
  • Communicate transparently and follow company policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For:
  • Certificate III or higher in Disability, Aged Care, Mental Health, or a related field
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and behaviours
  • Strong resilience, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Empathy and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Essential Requirements:
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Orientation module
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current Police Check (within 6 months)
  • Reliable car, valid driver’s licence, and comprehensive insurance
  • Ability to complete required company inductions and training
  • 100 points of ID
