About the Role

The Finance Officer will primarily be responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable. You will join the College’s administration team to support them in a permanent part-time capacity. The days of work are flexible, with set hours of 8am – 4pm. This role will be of vital importance in ensuring smooth processing of all financial transactions and accounts duties, alongside high-quality administration service to staff, students, and families. Salary range of $78,206 - $88,613 FTE is on offer, dependant on candidate skills and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure all college payments are paid in a timely manager and in accordance with college budgets.
  • Handle school fee billings, debtor management, and concession arrangements, ensuring timely communication with families
  • Liaise with suppliers, manage purchase orders, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Support financial reporting, audits, and compliance with GST and DOSCEL requirements
  • Assist with budget monitoring, administration overflow, and general finance-related tasks
  • Uphold College policies, particularly in relation to child safety and confidentiality
Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in accounts payable/receivable or a similar finance role
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A current Working with Children Check and National Police Check or willingness to obtain
