An established investment manager based in Central London is looking to appoint a Senior Fund selection Analyst to join their growing team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with minimum of 5 years of experience in fund selection/analysis, with multi asset knowledge but some experience of fixed income funds. The successful individual will be expected to contribute to detailed fund analysis and support ongoing investment monitoring, playing a key role in generating insight to inform the decision-making process. A keen analytical mind, a precise approach to data, and the ability to communicate findings clearly will be highly valued in this position. Our client is looking for someone who holds the CFA1 or higher, who wants to build on a great career in a dynamic and intellectually rigorous environment.

    

Key responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive research and due diligence on fund managers and their strategies across fixed income, equity, and risk premia funds 
• Analyse fund performance, risk metrics, and investment processes Meet with fund managers to assess their expertise and investment approach
• Create detailed investment reports and present findings to the investment committee
• Support the CIO and portfolio management team with the fund onboarding process
• Monitor selected funds and provide ongoing performance analysis
• Stay current with market trends and developments in fixed income, equity markets, and alternative risk premia

   

An ideal candidate will have commenced their CFA qualification, particularly at Level I. Have experience using fund research platforms (e.g., Morningstar, FactSet, FE Analytics) Understanding of ESG integration across multiple asset classes. Familiarity with different fixed income strategies (government bonds, corporate credit, high yield, emerging market debt) Experience with alternative risk premia and factor-based investment strategies. Be UK based with UK experience.
