Location: Parramatta, NSW
Salary range depending on experience $150,000 - $200,000 +

Lead a high-performing Workers Compensation team at this respected law firm. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Lawyer to join a leading mid-sized law firm based in Parramatta. This full-time position is perfect for someone passionate about leadership, legal operations, and creating a motivated, high-functioning team culture.

About the Role:
This key leadership position involves managing the day-to-day operations of a busy Workers Compensation team. You’ll work closely with legal professionals, support staff, and senior management to ensure client matters are progressed efficiently and team members are well-supported in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of lawyers, clerks, and administrative staff
• Oversee daily team operations to ensure timely case progression
• Review and approve legal case plans for new matters
• Conduct regular velocity meetings and performance check-ins
• Perform random file audits to ensure compliance and quality standards
• Review KPIs and provide structured feedback and support to the team
• Facilitate weekly team planning and priority meetings
• Collaborate with management on marketing and business development
• Identify and coordinate training and professional development
• Manage escalated client concerns and ensure high service standards

About You: To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Strong leadership experience in a legal setting—Workers Compensation experience highly desirable
