About the Role We're looking for a Sales Support Representative to join a busy and collaborative Winnipeg team. This is a dynamic, multi-functional position that's ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, staying organized, and being involved in all aspects of branch operations.
You'll work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to provide exceptional service, support sales initiatives, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the business centre. If you're proactive, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, this could be a great opportunity for you.
What You'll Be Doing - Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and other communication channels
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and requests
- Build strong relationships with customers and vendors through consistent, reliable support
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure commitments are followed through to completion
- Recommend complementary and alternative products to help customers find the best solutions
- Promote key product lines and current business initiatives
- Share customer feedback and market insights with management and sales teams
- Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including invoicing support, account payable processing, deposits, freight claims, cash reconciliation, and document management
- Continue developing product knowledge through training and learning opportunities
- Provide support with purchasing, inventory management, and other operational functions as needed
What You'll Bring - Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is considered an asset
- 1-2 years of customer service, sales support, administration, or related experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Interest in learning sales, purchasing, and inventory management functions
- A positive attitude, strong initiative, and willingness to take on new challenges
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Desire to learn, develop, and grow within the organization
