ConsultANZ is currently looking for Rig Operators to join a well-established piling contractor in Brisbane as their workload grows.

Main Duties
You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Coordinating activities of workers engaged in piling and ground improvements for structures such as bridges, retaining walls for earth embankments, and cofferdams.
• Directing the workers engaged in operating machines to drive piling and sheets.
• In-charge of ensuring all quality assurance on-site.
• Enforcing all OH&S procedures.
• Management of staff and labour of own team and subcontractors.

Requirements
A successful candidate will bring into the role:

• Ideally, you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Operator, piling rig experience in civil projects.
• Experience with Bauer, Liebherr, and Soilmec is highly desirable.
• Strong experience in piling methods, such as CFA, bored piles, driven piles etc.
• Strong leadership and time management skills.
• A good understanding of general construction and safety workplace procedures.
• Self-driven and ability to work both autonomously and under supervision.
