Electrical Project Engineer

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a client in the Transmission & Distribution space based in Perth, seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of major substation and transmission line projects.

The Electrical Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting the construction delivery electrical infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for individuals with a sharp eye for detail, strong coordination skills, and a solid understanding of construction workflows and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project delivery across substation and HV infrastructure works.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure engineering deliverables are met.
• Assist with technical documentation, specifications, and construction packages.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• Help resolve technical issues and support on-site construction activities as required.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of substation or transmission line construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, site-based environment and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (required).
