Concentis are partnering with a tier-1 mining owner-operator to source an experienced
Earthworks Supervisor for a major capital project based in Gladstone.
Starting in
July, this
3 to 4-month contract offers a fantastic opportunity to play a hands-on leadership role in the execution of bulk earthworks and associated civil works for the
Wall Raise Project.
You’ll report to the
Project Superintendent and be responsible for supervising site crews, ensuring safe and efficient delivery to schedule, and maintaining quality across daily construction activities.
Key Responsibilities - Supervise earthworks contractors and direct crews to meet project timelines and standards
- Monitor daily activities to ensure safety, environmental, and quality compliance
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and resources to support delivery of scope
- Lead daily pre-starts and toolbox talks, promoting a strong safety-first culture
- Liaise with engineering and project teams to identify and resolve field issues
- Contribute to progress reporting and construction documentation
About You - Proven supervisory experience in bulk earthworks or civil construction
- Sound understanding of safety systems, QA, and civil specifications
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage subcontractors and build strong site-based teams
