Contract Digital Marketer

ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you’ll ​start in mid-September, and work until the end of December 2025 on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on your preferred schedule. Following on from that, there’s a good chance to carry the work into the new year or even become a permanent member of the team. You’ll enjoy a mix of client-facing work and hands-on digital execution. You’ll set up and manage Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO campaigns, while also crafting engaging copy to support your strategies. Each day will bring variety, from coordinating projects and meeting clients to optimising performance and driving results. It’s a great opportunity to join a respected Christchurch agency and make a real impact in a flexible, rewarding role.​

• Manage day-to-day client communication and build strong relationships.
• Set up and optimise Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO campaigns.
• Write clear, engaging copy for ads, websites, and digital content.
• Coordinate projects, timelines, and budgets to keep everything on track.
• Monitor performance, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring experience working in a digital or marketing agency, along with confidence managing clients and delivering campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO. You’ll be proactive, organised, and comfortable juggling multiple projects. A talent for clear communication, strong attention to detail, and a blend of creative and analytical thinking will help you thrive.

• Proven experience in a digital or marketing agency environment.
• Hands-on skills with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO tools.
• Confident communicator who enjoys client interaction.
• Strong project coordination and time management abilities.
• Ability to write clear, engaging copy for digital campaigns.
