About the Role
Our client, a leading organisation committed to delivering projects that make a genuine difference to communities, is seeking an accomplished Development Manager – Property to oversee a portfolio of significant, high-value developments.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex projects from concept to completion, including master planning, rezoning, and multi-staged developments, within a full-service project management model.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of development projects, including large-scale, multi-phase, and vertical builds.
• Oversee project feasibility, scenario testing, and business case development, ensuring sound financial decision-making.
• Lead projects across the full lifecycle—design, statutory approvals, procurement, construction, commissioning, and sales.
• Drive continuous improvement of property development processes, governance, and risk management frameworks.
• Conduct site due diligence, risk assessments, and stakeholder engagement to support successful project delivery.
• Provide strategic recommendations, industry insights, and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
• Prepare and present detailed planning reports, business cases, and governance documentation to senior leaders.

What We’re Looking For

✔ Degree or Master’s in Property Development or related discipline
✔ Diploma or significant Project Management experience
✔ 7+ years of experience delivering complex property development projects (Aged Care, Retirement Living, Hospitals, Residential, Hotels, or similar)
✔ Proven track record managing multiple $40M+ projects, including vertical builds
✔ Strong financial modelling, feasibility assessment, and risk management skills
✔ High-level stakeholder management and negotiation expertise
✔ Passion for projects that deliver positive social outcomes

Highly Regarded:
Postgraduate qualifications in Property Development or Project Management
Industry memberships
Experience in Aged Care or Retirement Living sectors
