Job Title: 7.5T Driver

Location: Kirkby, Liverpool

Working Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay Rates:

• £16.00 per hour (first 32 hours per week)
• £21.00 per hour (after 32 hours and Saturdays)
• £23.65 per hour (Sundays)

Overview:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and experienced 7.5T Driver to join their growing operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for regular work with early starts and a consistent shift pattern – working Tuesday to Friday, with optional weekend overtime where and when required.

About the Role:

You will be delivering and collecting goods within the environmental services sector, which may include chemicals, WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), and other waste management materials. While no ADR licence is required, a safety-conscious and professional attitude is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle to customer and site locations
• Operating a tail lift to assist with loading and unloading
• Performing some manual handling work (safe lifting practices expected)
• Ensuring accurate paperwork and compliance with transport regulations
• Representing the client professionally at all times

Requirements:

• Valid UK 7.5T (C1) driving licence
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience in multi-drop or commercial driving
• Willingness to undertake manual handling tasks
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Desirable:

• Background in environmental services or waste management is beneficial but not essential
